For several generations, the Haselden family of Canterbury have been involved in, and committed to, the betterment of pedigree Romney Stud Sheep, Beef and Dairy cattle, Working Farm Dogs, Thoroughbred Horses, Warmblood Showjumpers, Dressage Horses and more recently, Border Terrier Dogs.

I now live in Christchurch New Zealand and have always said I would never keep a dog in the suburbs due to the lack of natural exercise and the wonderful environment, country life offers an intelligent working dog. Well, I was wrong.

The desire to continue breeding exceptional animals has remained with me and here I am with the most wonderful Border Terrier stud dog in the suburbs. He is the result of careful selection in terms of classical breed type, overall conformation, gait, intellect, temperament and outgoing character.

Thorough DNA research has played an important part in his breeding. An outcross mating with Ted will help infuse your Dams pups with a high degree of genetic Hybrid Vigour that is so important with breeding decisions.

Ted had his first fertility mating test in February 2021 and subsequently sired three outstanding litters– see photograph in photographs folder.

Enquiries are now welcome for the on-coming 2024 – 2025 breeding season
